Description:
Edpuzzle is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Security and Infrastructure Team in Spain.
The role involves enhancing development pipelines and infrastructure design to ensure new features reach end users.
The engineer will participate in all technical decisions and collaborate closely with the Engineering team.
Responsibilities include designing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, provisioning and maintaining infrastructure as code, and improving IT infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
The engineer will perform root cause analysis for production errors, implement automations for continuous integration and deployment, and participate in on-call service.
Staying updated with industry best practices and compliance requirements is essential.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 2 or more years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud System Administration, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering for high-traffic web-based products.
A good knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) is required.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform is necessary.
A programming background with knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js is essential.
Experience with software release management and deployment pipelines (Git, CI/CD) is required.
Candidates should have experience implementing infrastructure projects with zero downtime for high-traffic web-based products.
Open-mindedness about technologies and a passion for education are important.
Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work independently while managing goals and deadlines are required.
Candidates must be based in Spain and possess a work permit to work in the country.
