Description:

Almanak is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Senior/Mid) to join their team focused on building scalable infrastructure for AI Agents in DeFi.
The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-native systems on Google Cloud Platform to handle high-throughput AI agent workloads and blockchain data processing.
Responsibilities include deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, implementing GitOps workflows, and ensuring seamless CI/CD pipelines for rapid agent deployment and iteration.
The engineer will implement robust cloud security practices, manage IAM policies, network security, and secrets management while ensuring compliance with security best practices.
The position requires setting up observability solutions, performance monitoring, and alerting systems to identify bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
The engineer will collaborate closely with Python engineers to streamline development workflows, automate deployments, and provide the necessary infrastructure for building AI agents.

Requirements:

Candidates must have deep hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform or equivalent cloud providers, with a strong understanding of compute, networking, storage, and managed services.
A mastery of Kubernetes is required, including experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining production clusters, as well as familiarity with tools like Helm, operators, service meshes, and ingress controllers.
A security-first mindset is essential, with experience in cloud security best practices, zero-trust architectures, container security, secrets management, and compliance frameworks.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi is necessary, with a belief in version-controlled, reproducible infrastructure.
Candidates should have experience building systems that handle significant load, with knowledge of designing for horizontal scaling, fault tolerance, and graceful degradation.
Strong CI/CD experience and a collaborative approach to working with development teams are required, along with a culture of DevOps.
