Description:
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for understanding and managing the Software Development Lifecycle and various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines).
The incumbent works with developers and the IT team to implement DevOps practices for Development, integration, testing, Deployment, and Monitoring.
Responsibilities include recommending migration and consolidation strategies for DevOps tools, designing secure and agile development processes, and creating strategies for quality, tools integration, and cost optimization.
The role involves managing version control and source integration, overseeing infrastructure building and code flow, and implementing DevOps for mobile applications while managing application configuration.
The engineer will manage code quality and security policies, design and implement container and build strategies, and ensure Continuous Delivery (CD).
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience in DevOps.
Proven experience in setting up DevOps practices end-to-end for multiple products is required.
Strong expertise in DevOps practices including development, integration, testing, deployment, and monitoring is essential.
Experience with microservices environments and containerized applications is necessary.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP is required.
Proficiency in databases like MySQL and MongoDB is needed.
Candidates must be proficient in managing Linux/Windows environments.
Knowledge of security standards such as HIPAA, PII, GDPR, and Payment Gateway compliance is important.
Strong scripting capabilities in languages like Python and Shell are required.
Proficiency in automating builds and deployments and experience with CI/CD pipelines is essential.
