Description:
As a DevOps Engineer at Fortanix, you will collaborate with customers and product management to design operational requirements for new products and solutions.
Your responsibilities will include automating and accelerating the testing, release, and deployment of applications into a runtime environment quickly and reliably.
You will provide Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery solutions for Fortanix projects on-premise or in the cloud.
Contributing to defining security best practices and implementing "Shift Left" security to ensure application security at the earliest stages of development.
Ensuring a best-in-class experience for customers through deployment automation and continuous monitoring.
Mentoring junior engineers in the team to gain experience and take on DevOps responsibilities.
Contributing to a friendly and helpful company culture.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
3+ years of software engineering experience in development, operations, and full stack implementations.
Solid experience with Linux.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby for automation and integrations.
Experience with managing infrastructure and deploying applications in different cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery patterns.
Strong networking experience in TCP/IP, WAN, Gateways, Switching/Routing, and Cloud Networking.
Ability to research, architect, and implement complex technical solutions in multiple environments.
Experience with virtualization or container environments, orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes, configuration management tools like Chef/Ansible/Puppet, monitoring tools, and continuous integration systems.
