The DevOps Lead will evolve the infrastructure and platform tooling to support a growing engineering team in a hands-on technical leadership role.
Responsibilities include driving initiatives across deployment, observability, and developer productivity, ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient.
The role involves building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, improving system observability, optimizing cloud usage, and enhancing platform resilience.
The position requires collaboration with application engineers, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise and thrive in high-ownership environments.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering roles, preferably in high-growth startup environments.
Proficiency in Python or Go is required, along with strong software engineering fundamentals.
Proven ownership of production infrastructure and platform tooling is essential, including strong debugging skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
Deep experience with Kubernetes and tools such as ArgoCD, Helm, and Terraform is necessary.
Familiarity with GCP or other major cloud providers, focusing on cost and performance optimization, is preferred.
Strong experience in building CI/CD pipelines and internal developer tooling from scratch is required.
Hands-on experience with observability tools like Prometheus or Datadog and participation in an on-call rotation is expected.
