Protegrity is seeking a passionate and talented Software Engineer to join the R&D - DevOps Team.
The role involves implementing and managing the DevOps approach within the organization.
This position is crucial for bridging the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient delivery of high-quality software products.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, and Docker.
The engineer will define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
Collaboration with development and operations teams is essential to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle.
The role requires troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
The engineer will automate, manage, and optimize the deployment and infrastructure of applications on public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Monitoring and managing infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability is also a key responsibility.
The engineer should understand how to choose the best tools and technologies that fit the business needs.
Requirements:
A degree in BE/ME/MCA or any other related field is required.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant DevOps experience.
Hands-on experience with various DevOps concepts and tools such as Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory/Nexus is necessary.
Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Python, Ruby, or Java, is required.
Experience in building, designing, and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential.
Good knowledge of container and container orchestration tools like Docker, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes is preferred.
Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure is required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary, along with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of Data Protection, Privacy, and Security domains is preferred.
Familiarity with databases and SQL is preferred.
An understanding of agile methodologies and principles is preferred.
