Description:

  • Protegrity is seeking a passionate and talented Software Engineer to join the R&D - DevOps Team.
  • The role involves implementing and managing the DevOps approach within the organization.
  • This position is crucial for bridging the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, and Docker.
  • The engineer will define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
  • Collaboration with development and operations teams is essential to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle.
  • The role requires troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
  • The engineer will automate, manage, and optimize the deployment and infrastructure of applications on public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Monitoring and managing infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability is also a key responsibility.
  • The engineer should understand how to choose the best tools and technologies that fit the business needs.

Requirements:

  • A degree in BE/ME/MCA or any other related field is required.
  • Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant DevOps experience.
  • Hands-on experience with various DevOps concepts and tools such as Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory/Nexus is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Python, Ruby, or Java, is required.
  • Experience in building, designing, and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential.
  • Good knowledge of container and container orchestration tools like Docker, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure is required.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary, along with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Data Protection, Privacy, and Security domains is preferred.
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL is preferred.
  • An understanding of agile methodologies and principles is preferred.
