Description:

  • As a DevOps Software Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the DevOps approach within the organization.
  • This role is crucial in bridging the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient delivery of high-quality software products.
  • You should know how to design, implement, and maintain tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) of software using various cloud platforms.
  • The primary goal is to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual intervention, and improve the overall user experience, quality, and reliability of software products.
  • Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, and Docker.
  • You will define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
  • You will automate, manage, and optimize the deployment and infrastructure of applications on public clouds like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle is essential.
  • You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
  • Monitoring and managing infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability is part of your role.
  • You should understand how to choose the best tools and technologies that fit the business needs.

Requirements:

  • A BE/ME/MCA or any other degree in a related field is required.
  • You should have 2-4 years of relevant DevOps experience.
  • Hands-on experience with various DevOps concepts and tools like Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory/Nexus is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Ruby, or Java, is required.
  • Good experience in building, designing, and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure, and GCP is essential.
  • You should have good knowledge of container and container orchestration tools like Docker, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure is required.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, are necessary.
  • Preferred qualifications include knowledge of data protection, privacy, and security domains, knowledge of databases and SQL, and an understanding of agile methodologies and principles.
