Description:
As a DevOps Software Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the DevOps approach within the organization.
This role is crucial in bridging the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient delivery of high-quality software products.
You should know how to design, implement, and maintain tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) of software using various cloud platforms.
The primary goal is to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual intervention, and improve the overall user experience, quality, and reliability of software products.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, and Docker.
You will define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
You will automate, manage, and optimize the deployment and infrastructure of applications on public clouds like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle is essential.
You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
Monitoring and managing infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability is part of your role.
You should understand how to choose the best tools and technologies that fit the business needs.
Requirements:
A BE/ME/MCA or any other degree in a related field is required.
You should have 2-4 years of relevant DevOps experience.
Hands-on experience with various DevOps concepts and tools like Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory/Nexus is necessary.
Strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Ruby, or Java, is required.
Good experience in building, designing, and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure, and GCP is essential.
You should have good knowledge of container and container orchestration tools like Docker, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes.
Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure is required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, are necessary.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of data protection, privacy, and security domains, knowledge of databases and SQL, and an understanding of agile methodologies and principles.
