TLG's products and services help turn landowners into sellers of sustainable ecosystem services, allowing them to develop and monetize widespread sustainable land management practices.
The company integrates various geospatial data sources and leverages cutting-edge machine learning models for satellite imaging, carbon footprint, and biodiversity analysis.
TLG develops digital twins of land plots, assesses ecosystem quality, verifies proof of impact, and tokenizes claims for trading or bundling into tradable assets.
TLG is looking for a passionate DevOps or Systems Engineer to join their ambitious, cross-functional teams and help build a global-level technology platform.
As a DevOps, you will be responsible for building, operating, and monitoring the cloud IT infrastructure and providing a world-class developer experience to the engineering and data teams.

You should have 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or in a similar role, managing cloud-based infrastructure at scale.
Deep expertise in AWS is required, and experience with GCP is a plus.
You must have experience with administering cloud infrastructure at scale, ideally through configuration management with Terraform.
Experience with administering relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, is necessary.
Familiarity with SQS, Pub/Sub, and message-driven architectures is required.
Knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture is a plus.
You should have sound knowledge of UNIX and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
Solid experience with monitoring, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, containers (Docker & Kubernetes), and related tools is essential.
You must be fluent in at least one major web programming language and common engineering tools like Git and Jira.
The ability to debug and optimize code is necessary.
Automation should come naturally to you.
You should value agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban and apply engineering best practices, code reviews, pair programming, and automated tests.
Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for observability and reliability are required.
You should take ownership of your work and have a deep sense of responsibility.
Good communication skills in English are essential, and German is a plus.
Benefits:
You will enjoy a working environment based on trust, encouragement, and feedback, fostering a positive and inspiring work atmosphere.
There is a high degree of autonomy in your role.
You will face challenging and novel problems to solve.
Remote work is available, with a preference for time zones close to Germany.
There are plenty of learning and development opportunities within and outside the organization.
