Description:
As a product-driven company founded by engineers, Gearset values a great engineering culture and is seeking an experienced DevOps Team Lead.
The DevOps Team Lead will lead the DevOps team, collaborating with a modern tech stack including Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and .NET.
The role involves helping Gearset run a scalable, secure, and reliable service while enabling the development of solutions to accommodate the company's rapid growth.

The DevOps Team Lead will shape the direction of DevOps at Gearset, influencing infrastructure decisions and best practices.
Responsibilities include developing and mentoring a high-performing DevOps team, tackling complex scaling challenges, and collaborating across the company to drive operational excellence.
Requirements:
Candidates must have been in a DevOps Team Lead or equivalent position for a couple of years or more, with a proven track record in a fast-moving environment.
A strong ability to understand user needs and prioritize technical work related to security, compliance, and scalability is essential.
In-depth practical experience with AWS and Kubernetes is required, particularly in VPC networking and security, IAM, EC2, Postgres RDS, S3, SQS, SNS, ECR, and EKS.
Hands-on experience running production-level SaaS applications at scale is necessary, including performing change management and responding to incidents affecting service availability.
Great to haves include experience with Terraform for infrastructure management, knowledge of CI/CD pipeline configuration, familiarity with .NET/C# applications, and experience implementing observability solutions.
