Remote DevOps Team Lead

Description:

• The DevOps Team Lead position at Copperleaf involves optimizing the flow of delivery by supporting product development and operations teams with a consistent installation and deployment process.
• Responsibilities include understanding development and operations needs, improving infrastructure reliability, troubleshooting issues, and educating the organization on DevOps best practices.
• Key responsibilities also include owning the build and deployment infrastructure, administering Azure DevOps and security tooling, coaching and developing teammates, fostering a collaborative team environment, and championing Agile and DevSecOps mindset adoption.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with people management and leading a team is required.
• Experience with running cloud native applications is necessary.
• Ability to work across the organization, influence beyond direct responsibilities, and drive organizational changes related to DevOps is essential.
• Hands-on experience with hyperscaler environments like AWS and Azure, including container orchestration, is a must.
• Proven track record of managing stakeholder expectations and familiarity with all aspects of the software release cycle are required.
• Strong teamwork, empathy, respect, courtesy, and discretion are valued attributes.
