Remote DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (Delhi-Remote)

Description:

• Token Metrics is seeking a results-oriented IT administrator to manage the company's IT infrastructure.
• The role involves upgrading and installing hardware and software, troubleshooting to resolve IT issues, and maintaining networks and servers.
• The candidate should possess extensive experience in administration, including system administration for cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) and knowledge of multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Responsibilities include acting as a cloud system admin, monitoring and maintaining networks and servers, and creating and automating alerting and monitoring system logs.
• The engineer will build tools to mitigate weaknesses in incident management or software delivery and troubleshoot support escalation requests.
• Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives is also part of the job.
• Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats is essential.
• The role includes creating user accounts, performing access control, and conducting diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
• Documenting processes, backing up and archiving data, and developing data retrieval and recovery procedures are required tasks.
• The engineer will design and implement efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
• Supervising and mentoring IT department employees and providing IT support is expected.
• Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration is crucial.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a similar field is required.
• An applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification, is necessary.
• The candidate must have at least two years of experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies is essential.
• Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security is required.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills are necessary.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.
