Description:

  • The DevOps/SRE Engineer at Gcore will be responsible for deploying new servers, implementing infrastructure changes, planning and executing infrastructure maintenance, diagnosing and resolving issues related to software and hardware, and enhancing infrastructure lifecycle pipelines.
  • The technology stack includes Linux operating systems, configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, monitoring tools such as Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, scripting languages like Bash and Python, and virtualization technologies like OpenStack and Ceph.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a DevOps/SRE Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in Linux systems.
  • Experience with at least one configuration management system (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Solid understanding of computer networking, including routing and switching principles.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and a deep desire to understand systems at a low level.
  • Ability to write Bash and Python scripts.
  • Familiarity with virtualization systems such as KVM, Libvirt, and QEMU.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Intermediate or higher level of English (sufficient for communication in chat and on calls).
