The position is for a DevOps/Systems Engineer with a Microsoft Windows Engineering background, aimed at supporting the company's growth and scaling.
Candidates must be ready to contribute immediately and improve infrastructure deployments.
Responsibilities include application deployment automation, designing and implementing continuous delivery pipelines, maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure, providing application support, and monitoring tools for system issues.
The role also involves participating in root cause analysis, researching third-party tools, analyzing system utilization trends, troubleshooting server and application issues, maintaining operating systems, and creating system documentation.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or current IT Certification Status is required.
A Microsoft Windows Engineering background is essential.
Experience with a Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment platform, such as Azure DevOps, is necessary.
An understanding of AWS service offerings is required, with AWS associate level certification being a plus.
Experience supporting IIS servers and .Net applications is mandatory.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and debugging is required.
Candidates must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Windows Server, VMware, and AWS administration is required.
Experience in administering virtualized servers and clients is a must.
Flexibility to work outside of normal operating hours when requested is necessary.
Candidates should be able to take a task or project and see it through to completion within the estimated time.
