Description:
The DevSecOps Architect is responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementing security systems within the organization’s IT network.
This role requires a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and staying up to date with the latest security standards, systems, and authentication protocols, as well as best practice security products.
The responsibilities include ensuring the security architecture is integrated and consistent with the company’s overall systems architecture.
The architect will keep up to date with emerging security threats and conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards to support security improvement and operational efficiency.
The role involves being an engineer and architect for the integration of security products with other systems.
The architect will develop secure solutions that ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer and company data.
Responsibilities also include facilitating the development and implementation of appropriate security configurations, policies, processes, and procedures.
The architect will evaluate overall risk for IT systems and data, accounting for people, processes, and technologies that provide security controls.
Maintaining oversight of design and implementation of IT systems to ensure appropriate and effective security controls are included is essential.
The role requires participation in setting strategic direction and advising leadership on Information Security issues, systems, processes, products, and services.
The architect will guide employees by utilizing credibility and subject matter expertise that aligns security and enterprise architectures.
Responsibilities include architecting, prioritizing, coordinating, and communicating the choice of security technologies necessary to ensure a highly secure, yet usable, computing environment.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, or a related field is required.
An expert level of security architecture and development practices and implementations is expected.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Casino Management Systems and Casino Operations is required.
Expert level knowledge in Software Security, OAuth, Network Security, SDN, Certificates, Encryption, Data Security, C#, Docker, Kubernetes, REST, RDBMS, Linux, HTML, and JavaScript/Typescript skills is necessary.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience acting as an architect for large enterprise-level software projects is required.
At least 10 years of experience in writing applications using programming languages like C#, Java, and JavaScript is necessary.
Knowledge of APM tools like Prometheus/Grafana is preferred.
Experience with Enterprise Service Bus designs, development, and implementation is required.
Experience with Micro Service Architecture design, development, and implementation is necessary.
Familiarity with SDLC processes, architectural patterns, and development frameworks is required.
Proficiency in modeling environments such as Unified Modeling Language (UML), and at least one EA modeling tool is also required.
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills are essential.
An extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail is necessary.
Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and being team-oriented are required.
Management of Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which the company operates is expected.
A fully functional and up-to-date computer is required to perform duties.
Willingness to install next-generation endpoint protection on the computer is necessary.
The candidate must be willing to work in US Pacific business hours.
