Description:
The position is for a skilled DevSecOps Engineer who will enhance developer and customer experiences through secure systems.
The role can be based in Thessaloniki, Athens, or remotely.
Responsibilities include deploying product updates, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing integrations to meet internal and customer needs.
The engineer will maintain and develop CI/CD pipelines and automated processes.
They will also administer CI/CD infrastructure and design containerized microservice architectures on Kubernetes, both on-premise and in the Cloud.
Ensuring the smooth operation of deployed applications and services is crucial.
The engineer must ensure compliance with security and industry standards.
Monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues with a focus on performance optimization is required.
Collaboration with development teams to facilitate DevSecOps processes is essential.
Providing support and troubleshooting problems related to the applicative infrastructure and configuration is part of the job.
A team-oriented mindset is necessary.
Requirements:
A university degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a DevSecOps position is necessary.
A strong background in containerization technologies, particularly Docker, is essential.
Experience with orchestration technologies, especially Kubernetes, is required.
Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure cloud services is necessary, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of their ecosystems.
Experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing Amazon EKS clusters and/or Azure AKS is required.
Proficiency in Linux systems and Shell scripting is necessary.
Experience with two or more of the following tools: Jenkins, SonarQube, Dependency Track, ArgoCD, Grafana, and/or JMeter is required.
An affinity for software tools and quality assurance is important.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
Knowledge of German is considered an asset.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as AWS CloudFormation/CDK/Terraform, is a plus.
