Remote DevSecOps Engineer

Description:

• Deel is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join their team, which is dedicated to helping businesses hire globally.
• The role involves developing and maintaining automated security tools and processes to identify vulnerabilities, perform code analysis, and conduct security testing.
• The engineer will work with infrastructure and operations teams to design and implement secure cloud infrastructure, network architecture, and deployment processes.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with security principles, standards, and best practices, including knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and secure coding practices, is essential.
• Proficiency in DevOps methodologies and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation, is important.
• Candidates should have the ability to assess risks and apply appropriate security controls, including understanding threat modeling and incident response planning.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills are necessary to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in automation tools and technologies, including security scanners and vulnerability management systems, is beneficial.
• Relevant security certifications, such as CSSLP, CEH, or CISSP, can enhance credibility.
