Description:
Longbridge Financial, LLC is seeking a Digital Innovator to join the Capital Markets department within the Pricing & Analytics team.
The role involves innovating in various areas such as automating HMBS pooling procedures, developing consumer-facing Marketing Applets for lead generation, and enhancing sales efficiency through new tools and applications.
The position requires a deep understanding of the business, the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex problems, and taking a leading role in their implementation.
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in programming and data architecture.
The role allows for remote work, with occasional travel to NJ/NY.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop software solutions, managing the entire software development life cycle.
Enhance and expand existing Data Architecture for better scalability and automation of manual processes and reporting.
Write high-quality, secure, scalable, and efficient code following best practices with minimal guidance.
Create visually appealing consumer-facing UI, integrating backend services for a seamless user experience.
Produce technical documentation to facilitate long-term maintenance of applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure timely delivery.
Deploy software in compliance with LBF change management and SDLC policies.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on development, programming, and data architecture experience.
Self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept to deployment.
Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
Comfortable in a start-up environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with limited oversight.
Ability to balance various priorities and considerations to create comprehensive solutions.
Experience in designing consumer-facing enterprise products.
Excellent communication and project management skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in modern programming and database languages like React/Angular, WordPress, SQL, Python.
Experience with Azure Dev Ops environment is a plus.
Background in finance or the mortgage industry is advantageous.
