Remote Director, Information Security and Compliance Engineer

Description:

• The Director of Information Security and Compliance Engineer position at Matterport involves supporting, implementing, and maintaining the company's information security and compliance program for a leading public SaaS company.
• Responsibilities include driving the design, implementation, monitoring, and administration of security systems, updating information security policies, conducting risk assessments, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and supporting SOC2 and SOX compliance.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical experience with cloud environments, experience in managing information security programs, and excellent communication skills.
• The role requires working with development teams to implement security best practices and maintaining SaaS and Cloud security architecture and configurations.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in information security and compliance, including experience in a publicly traded company.
• Strong understanding of information security risks and best practices, experience with SaaS and Cloud architectures, and managing information security programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to develop strong communication and leadership skills in managing a team.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field and CISSP certification.
