Description:

Logos is seeking a Distributed Systems Engineer proficient in Rust to contribute to the development of the decentralised web.
The engineer will work on Logos technologies that aim to establish a freer internet supporting the evolution of communities into network states.
The role involves empowering users while upholding civil liberties and fundamental freedoms through each protocol in the Logos stack.
Logos is a grassroots movement focused on providing trust-minimized, corruption-resistant governing services and social institutions to underserved citizens.
The engineer will be part of the Nomos project, a sovereign, modular, zk-encrypted network of blockchains within the Logos stack.
Nomos network will serve as a common infrastructure layer for communities and aspiring network states to develop social, governance, and financial services that respect fundamental rights and values.

Requirements:

Strong coding experience in Rust is a must-have for this position.
Prior experience in distributed systems or P2P/network systems in production environments is a must-have for this role.
The ideal candidate should be a keen communicator, willing to share work through internal and public presentations, blog posts, and academic papers.
