Description:

Seeking a software engineer to build and validate resilient distributed systems for Canonical's Ubuntu and Juju.
Responsible for ensuring high quality of Canonical's Cloud solutions under diverse conditions.
Develop CI pipelines for cloud integration testing and reporting.
Contribute to expanding deployment capabilities to new clouds and developing AI/ML pipelines for test result analysis.
Collaborate with a globally distributed team.
Create automated testing approaches for cloud orchestration tools and applications.
Enhance continuous integration pipelines for testing cloud native products like Kubeflow.
Deploy, manage, and debug highly distributed systems.
Monitor and report on automated testing efforts.

Requirements:

Solid background in modern test processes and strategies.
Experience with Python or Go development.
Strong object-oriented development skills.
Ability to develop and ship production-grade modern web applications.
Working knowledge of continuous integration tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub CI.
Knowledge of networking technologies and Linux system architecture.
Capacity for complex abstract thinking.
Capability for 2-4 weeks of international travel per year.
Additional skills in collecting and analyzing large datasets, operating data platforms, working with cloud technologies, and developing AI/ML pipelines.
