Description:

As a Django Engineer at Wingz, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and performant.
You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, build, and enhance features that improve user experience and drive business growth.
The work schedule will be during PH hours and may overlap with US hours (EST).
This position is remote and classified as an Independent Contractor role.
It is a full-time position with a long-term opportunity.
The salary range for this position is $2,000-3,000 per month (USD).

Payouts will be made semi-monthly.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web development using Django and Django REST framework is required.
Proficiency in Python, Django, and Django REST framework is essential.
A strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is necessary.
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services is required.
Familiarity with database systems, such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, is needed.
Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, is important.
Experience with Docker and containerization is a plus.
An understanding of cloud services, such as AWS and GCP, is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies is expected.
