Description:

We are seeking skilled Filipino individuals residing in the Philippines to join us as a Django Engineer.
The Django Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and performant.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and enhance features that improve user experience and drive business growth.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, following business hours.
The employment setup is remote, classified as an Independent Contractor position.
The salary range starts at $2,000 - $3,000 per month.
Pay-out frequency is semi-monthly.
Equipment for the role is self-provided.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web development using Django and Django REST framework.
Proficiency in Python, Django, and Django REST framework is required.
A strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is necessary.
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services is essential.
Familiarity with database systems, including PostgreSQL and MySQL, is required.
Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, is necessary.
Experience with Docker and containerization is a plus.
An understanding of cloud services, such as AWS and GCP, is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies is important.
