Description:

  • ProSidian seeks a DOE - NNSA Senior Scientist - Research and Development (TEPSIII32) to support requirements for Nuclear Energy Sector Clients.
  • This position is based near CONUS - Washington, DC and allows for remote work.
  • The role aligns with the Senior Scientist - Nuclear Sector Research and Development Labor Category.
  • Ideal candidates should be able to visualize, analyze, and convert data to meet performance challenges while engaging in productive dialogue targeting mission success.
  • Responsibilities include providing Nuclear Energy Sector related Energy & Environment Solutions and supporting engagement teams.
  • Candidates will lead Service Pod Teams and contribute to deliverables related to Research and Development Functional Areas.
  • The position involves supporting Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services for the U.S. Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical (STEM) field is required, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Candidates should demonstrate either deeper technical specialization or additional cross-disciplinary knowledge.
  • Graduate research experience is preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe, is required.
  • All staff must be eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” by the USG’s designated Security Office.
  • Candidates may be required to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance.
