Description:

  • The eCommerce Front-end Developer position at SQLI involves managing front-end content development needs from the business, utilizing web development frameworks and best practices, as well as UX & UI best practices to deliver high-performing experiences.
  • The developer will execute the global campaign & permanent content roadmap while aligning with commercial, communications, and brand values.
  • Responsibilities also include supporting the definition of the client's digital vision and objectives and raising awareness of innovative web technologies within the Global eCommerce Community.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar academic background is required.
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in eBusiness, eCommerce, or Digital Agencies as a front-end or full-stack developer is necessary.
  • Advanced understanding of User Experience/Usability is essential.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like Preact/React, strong HTML5/CSS3/JS expertise, and expertise in CSS Pre-processing (SASS, SCSS) are required.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket (Git), Typescript, Storybook, Postman, and SonarQube is needed.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of responsive web design, cross-device support, cross-browser issues, atomic design, and accessibility (WCAG, screen readers, etc.) is a must.
  • Basic expertise in Photoshop for tasks like exporting media, cropping, resizing, touching up visuals, and optimization is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Sketch/Figma is preferred.
