Description:
Hydrow is seeking an eCommerce Technical Lead to drive the development of its headless eCommerce platform.
The role involves leading the technical direction of Hydrow.com and delivering high-impact projects to enhance the purchasing experience.
The position requires working with cutting-edge eCommerce web technologies, including headless and serverless architectures.
The candidate will engage in a culture of continuous learning and innovation, sharpening skills and exploring new technologies.
In the first thirty days, the candidate will familiarize themselves with Hydrow's eCommerce systems, build relationships with key stakeholders, and participate in technical design and execution.
Within the first three months, the candidate will collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to implement solutions, manage site technical metrics, and drive key digital initiatives.
By the six-month mark, the candidate will drive roadmap development priorities and enhance the resiliency of the observability stack.
Requirements:
The candidate must have deep experience building eCommerce applications with Shopify or similar backend services in a headless environment.
A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in building and running high-traffic, full-stack web applications is required.
The candidate should have at least 2 years of professional experience with React web frameworks, such as Next.js, Remix, or Vue.
Expertise in modern frontend development practices, including responsive and accessible user interfaces, is essential.
Familiarity with analytics and tag management tools, as well as a clear understanding of SEO principles, is required.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of design patterns and data modeling.
Familiarity with headless CMS platforms like Contentful is strongly preferred.
The candidate should possess a passion for coding, a natural curiosity for new technologies, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and conditions are necessary.
Experience in project management, particularly in agile cross-functional projects, is required.
