Eventbrite is seeking an Editorial Data Analyst to join their Communications team as the go-to data expert.
The role involves uncovering and analyzing data that reflects broader cultural trends and identifying emerging trends within the Eventbrite platform.
Insights gained will help shape stories that position Eventbrite as a leader in live experiences and strengthen their media presence.
Responsibilities include handling data requests, assisting with media inquiries, and providing insights for newsroom content, trend reports, and other editorial assets.
The position is remote and reports to the Senior Director of Consumer & Product Communications.
Key tasks include creating SQL queries, analyzing data points, partnering with teams to create dashboards, and translating data into reports and visualizations.
The analyst will monitor platform data for niche trends and streamline data sourcing processes to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3-5 years of professional experience in data or related fields, with a proven ability to draw actionable insights from large datasets.
Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with tools like Tableau is required.
The ideal candidate must be skilled at interpreting complex data into clear, concise bullet points for non-technical audiences.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to be a supportive partner in cross-functional efforts are essential.
Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are necessary.
Bonus points for experience at a start-up or global organization, knowledge of the live experiences industry, and a passion for cultural trends.
