Remote Elixir Software Engineer

Description:

• The company, Level All, is seeking an Elixir Software Engineer to work on their core web platform and supporting applications.
• The engineer will be using technologies such as Elixir, Phoenix, LiveView, TypeScript, Tailwind, AlpineJS, and Postgres database.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to enhance the platform for students and learners, as well as schools and community organizations.
• The role involves bug fixing, improving code quality, addressing tech debt, and automated testing as the platform grows.
• The position offers full-time regular employment with the possibility of hybrid or fully remote work for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least two years of experience working with Elixir or another functional language in a production environment.
• Proficiency in building web apps with Phoenix and LiveView.
• A product mindset focused on helping users.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team.
• Comfortable working in a startup environment with agile-ish processes.
• Previous experience working on a remote or hybrid team.
