Remote Elixir Software Engineer

Description:

• The company, Level All, is a well-funded, fast-growing media and technology company with a mission to provide support and guidance to high school and postsecondary school students in the US.
• They are seeking an Elixir Software Engineer to work on their core web platform and supporting applications built with Elixir, Phoenix, LiveView, TypeScript, Tailwind, AlpineJS, and a Postgres database.
• The engineer will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to enhance the platform for students, learners, schools, and community organizations.
• Responsibilities include pairing, code review, process improvements, bug fixing, tech debt reduction, and automated testing.
• The position offers full-time regular employment with the possibility of hybrid or fully remote work for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least two years of experience working with Elixir or another functional language in a production environment.
• Proficiency in building web apps with Phoenix and LiveView.
• A product mindset focused on helping users.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team.
• Comfortable working in a startup environment with agile-ish processes.
• Previous experience working on a remote or hybrid team.
