Description:

DSR Corporation is seeking an Embedded Cyber Security Engineer to join their team in Porto, Portugal.
The role involves practical cyber security and hands-on assessments of various types of IoT devices.
Responsibilities include performing hardware, software, firmware, and network security assessments and testing of devices, systems, or their components.
The engineer will analyze PCB design, hardware, and software components.
Development of hardware and software tools for assessment and demonstration is also required.
Detailed documentation of assessment steps and results is essential.
The range of devices assessed includes IoT gateways, IP cameras, wireless sensors, smart TVs, and remote control units.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of professional, relevant experience.
A Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred, or a Bachelor's degree is required.
Good C/C++ software development skills are necessary.
Familiarity with modern processor architectures is required.
Knowledge of cryptography fundamentals and public key infrastructure is essential.
Experience with low-level software components, such as bootloader, kernel, and device drivers, is needed.
Candidates should have experience with firmware development, including bare-metal, RTOS, and Linux.
Experience with wired and wireless protocol analysis is required.
The ability to independently perform assessments on hardware/software products and communicate efficiently with team members is necessary.
A willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills is essential.
Proficiency in technical English is required.
