Description:
Motive is seeking an Embedded Engineer to join their team remotely in India.
The engineer will be responsible for leading an embedded project from start to finish as a key member of the hardware team.
The role involves designing and developing high-performance firmware and software for cutting-edge mobile platforms and cameras.
The engineer will debug, optimize, and validate firmware on complex embedded multi-core architectures.
Participation in ground-breaking hardware and research projects is expected.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in the field.
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is required.
Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded systems, including algorithm development, data structure manipulation, and code optimization, are necessary.
Familiarity with ARM or equivalent embedded multi-core microprocessor architectures is a must.
Understanding of operating systems concepts like thread scheduling, context switching, and memory management is essential.
Experience with ARM debuggers, hardware design, schematics, board bring-up, and validation is preferred.
Knowledge of Linux OS with ARM or any microcontroller, automotive protocols (J1939, J1587, J1850), and peripheral protocols (UART, CAN, SPI) is desired.
