Remote Embedded Systems Engineer

Description:

• Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer or Software Engineer with expertise in microprocessor programming and board bring-up for a contract position.
• This role involves working on an exciting project using the Dialog/Renesas SmartBond DA14695.
• The engineer will program and bring up the Dialog/Renesas SmartBond DA14695 microprocessor.
• Responsibilities include testing and validating board functionality, including changing outputs using the microprocessor.
• The engineer will use a provided oscilloscope to verify outputs.
• Collaboration with the project lead to develop a project plan and execute the initial phase is required.
• The goal is to deliver a functional board bring-up within the first couple of months.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in programming microprocessors and embedded systems is required.
• Hands-on expertise with board bring-up and validation is necessary.
• Familiarity with the Dialog/Renesas SmartBond DA14695 or similar platforms is essential.
• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is required.
• Proficiency in using oscilloscopes for testing and debugging is necessary.
• The ability to work independently and deliver results in a remote setting is essential.
• Strong communication skills to outline a project plan and align with project goals are required.
