Description:
The Embedded Systems Engineer will design and develop the next generation of embedded systems that transform industries and elevate user experiences.
This role involves working with hardware engineers, software developers, and product teams to optimize embedded systems.
Responsibilities include writing firmware, working with microcontrollers, and ensuring seamless hardware-software interaction while maintaining system efficiency, performance, and reliability.
Key responsibilities include architecting embedded systems, writing and optimizing low-level firmware, collaborating on hardware-software integration, debugging and testing embedded systems, optimizing for power and performance, and staying updated with emerging technologies.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive experience in designing and developing embedded systems using microcontrollers such as ARM, PIC, AVR, and STM32.
Strong programming skills in C, C++, and assembly languages are required for writing efficient firmware and debugging hardware interfaces.
Proficiency in interfacing sensors and communication modules (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) with embedded systems is essential, along with experience in communication protocols like I2C, SPI, and UART.
Expertise in optimizing embedded systems for low power consumption and high performance in real-time operating environments is necessary.
Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers is required to diagnose hardware-software integration issues.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience also valued.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in embedded systems development, with a proven track record in industries such as IoT, automotive, robotics, or consumer electronics.
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and development tools like Keil, MPLAB, or IAR is highly desirable.
