Description:

  • The Embedded Systems Engineer will design and develop the next generation of embedded systems that transform industries and elevate user experiences.
  • This role involves working with hardware engineers, software developers, and product teams to optimize embedded systems.
  • Responsibilities include writing firmware, working with microcontrollers, and ensuring seamless hardware-software interaction while maintaining system efficiency, performance, and reliability.
  • Key responsibilities include architecting embedded systems, writing and optimizing low-level firmware, collaborating on hardware-software integration, debugging and testing embedded systems, optimizing for power and performance, and collaborating on projects involving IoT, robotics, and industrial automation.
  • The engineer will also stay updated on emerging technologies in embedded systems and related fields.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in embedded systems development using microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, PIC, AVR, STM32) and processors is required.
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++, and assembly languages are necessary for writing efficient firmware and debugging hardware interfaces.
  • Proficiency in interfacing sensors and communication modules (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) with embedded systems is essential, along with experience in communication protocols like I2C, SPI, and UART.
  • Expertise in optimizing embedded systems for low power consumption and high performance in real-time operating environments is required.
  • Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers is necessary for diagnosing hardware-software integration issues.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience also valued.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded systems development is required, with a proven track record in industries such as IoT, automotive, robotics, or consumer electronics.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and development tools like Keil, MPLAB, or IAR is highly desirable.
