Description:

  • Culture Amp is seeking an Engineer to join their Design System team, which focuses on in-house tooling for their design system.
  • The design system, named Kaizen, is a library of React components developed since 2017, with documentation available online.
  • The team collaborates with product teams to create cohesive, intuitive, accessible, and delightful user experiences efficiently.
  • Engineering practices at Culture Amp are inclusive, distributed across cross-functional Agile teams, and support flexible work arrangements.
  • Responsibilities include building and maintaining UI components, improving tooling and engineering systems, and contributing to team rituals and culture.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of front-end experience working on complex web-based products.
  • A strong understanding of web platform fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design is required.
  • Experience with a modern JavaScript framework, particularly React, is necessary.
  • Previous experience working in a design system team is considered a bonus.
  • Candidates should be passionate about design systems and empowering engineering teams, possess effective communication skills, and be self-motivated with a curious and persistent approach to work.
