Description:
Culture Amp is seeking an Engineer to join their Design System team, which focuses on in-house tooling for their design system.
The design system, named Kaizen, is a library of React components developed since 2017, with documentation available online.
The team collaborates with product teams to create cohesive, intuitive, accessible, and delightful user experiences efficiently.
Engineering practices at Culture Amp are inclusive, distributed across cross-functional Agile teams, and support flexible work arrangements.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining UI components, improving tooling and engineering systems, and contributing to team rituals and culture.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of front-end experience working on complex web-based products.
A strong understanding of web platform fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design is required.
Experience with a modern JavaScript framework, particularly React, is necessary.
Previous experience working in a design system team is considered a bonus.
Candidates should be passionate about design systems and empowering engineering teams, possess effective communication skills, and be self-motivated with a curious and persistent approach to work.
