Description:

Zapier is seeking a Fullstack Developer with strong back-end experience to join the Editor AI team.
The role involves building and evolving the Editor AI product and platform, including developing new AI-based capabilities and maintaining existing ones.
The Editor AI team has gained visibility for delivering the Editor Copilot functionality and is a key part of Zapier's AI Assist - Build initiative for 2025.
Candidates do not need prior AI or LLM experience but should have an interest in learning about these technologies.
The position is full-time and remote, specifically targeting candidates in the Americas (Eastern and Pacific timezones).

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience developing production systems, including at least 1 year of frontend development experience.
A minimum of 2 years should be dedicated to crafting and refining web-based software products.
At least 1 full year of experience in Javascript/TypeScript is required.
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience working with large-scale systems or platforms, including system design and architecture experience.
A minimum of 1 year of experience with AWS services, preferably both compute and data storage services, is required.
Experience in triaging stakeholder/customer requests and proposing plans and priorities is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in building release plans, rollouts, and refactoring mature systems and codebases.
A curiosity about AI and excitement for leveraging new technologies to enhance workflows is essential.
