The Engineer II, Full Stack position is part of the Bellese MPSM Team, which supports the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in modernizing the Medicare Payment System.

Responsibilities include influencing projects, delivering features, supporting team members, and following team processes.
The role involves API development, data management, development experience across the SDLC, collaboration with stakeholders, documentation, security implementation, continuous improvement, and automation of tasks.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 10+ years of work experience.
Participation in an on-call rotation is expected.
Experience in backend development using Java 17+, Spring Boot, Maven, and OpenAPI/Swagger is necessary.
Familiarity with testing tools such as JUnit, Postman, Newman, and SonarQube is required.
Knowledge of AWS services including Fargate/ECS, RDS, and CloudWatch is essential.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, and Docker is needed.
Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and tools such as GitHub, Jira, and Confluence is important.
Familiarity with HL7 FHIR is a bonus.
