Description:
Bellese is a mission-driven Digital Services Company focused on innovative technology solutions in civic healthcare, aiming to improve public health outcomes.
The company is enhancing program integrity efforts for Medicare and Medicaid through the Unified Case Management (UCM) system, which facilitates case tracking, audits, investigations, and workload management.
The UCM system is being transformed into a modern, scalable architecture to enhance performance, security, and usability, including migration to cloud-based solutions and improved system interoperability.
As an Engineer II, you will influence projects and products, be highly proficient in software engineering technologies, and reliably scope, estimate, design, and deliver medium-to-large features while reducing technical debt.
You will leverage test-driven development to deliver backend systems and user interfaces, contribute to API development, design and maintain data interactions, and ensure data integrity and security.
The technologies used include Java (SpringBoot), Maven, Angular, JavaScript, and Python, with AWS knowledge and experience as a nice-to-have.
Background check requirements include US citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US, residency in the US for at least the past 3 years, and the ability to meet Public Trust requirements.
Requirements:

Proficiency in one or more software engineering technologies is required, particularly in Java (SpringBoot), Maven, Angular, JavaScript, and Python.
Experience with test-driven development and the ability to design and maintain data interactions is essential.
Familiarity with AWS and experience working on large-scale systems with over 100 users is preferred.
