Description:

Lead small to mid-sized teams in building SaaS digital advertisement products using NodeJS Microservices
Collaborate with Product Design, Product Management, and Architects to enhance development quality and engineering culture
Stay 50% hands-on to guide and mentor Frontend and Backend Engineers
Participate in code reviews, task planning, workload estimation, and project management
Assist in defining and executing the engineering hiring plan
Provide career guidance and mentorship to team members
Write testable, reusable, secure, and efficient code
Stay updated on advancements in Node.js and AWS technologies
Assist in resolving production issues and improving processes
Conduct 1:1s, performance discussions, and workshops
Ensure coding standards and patterns are followed through design discussions and code reviews

10+ years of software engineering experience
2+ years of engineering leadership experience with a focus on team productivity
Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts and engage in constructive conversations
Proficiency in NodeJS with TypeScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks
Knowledge of scalable application design principles and event-driven architecture
Experience in strategic planning, architectural design, and mentoring
Ability to write understandable, testable code with an emphasis on maintainability, security, and reliability
Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with automated testing best practices
Excellent project management and organizational skills
