Description:

  • Join Culture Amp as an Engineering Team Lead for the Data Platform Team and help shape the future of work.
  • Oversee the internal data platform that integrates data from products and external sources, empowering analysts and data scientists.
  • Lead the design of Culture Amp’s data platform, including the data lake, warehouse, data modeling, orchestration, and ML platform.
  • Inspire and guide engineers, helping them tackle complex challenges and removing obstacles for their success.
  • Communicate technical solutions clearly with your team, peers, and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop engineers, fostering their growth into future technical leaders.
  • Ensure timely and efficient project delivery within Agile, cross-functional, and remote-friendly teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of data engineering and data platform architecture, including data lake and data warehouse architecture, data modeling, and security and compliance.
  • Experience with the AWS data stack, including Redshift, MSK, and Glue.
  • Knowledge of key data stack components, such as dbt and Airflow.
  • Experience managing stakeholders and leading engineers, complemented by strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A technical leader who balances hands-on technical skills while empowering and coaching engineers.
  • Open to receiving and giving feedback to help others grow.
