Description:
The position is for an Enterprise Data Architect, which is a remote role.
The salary range is $160,000 - $200,000, with an annual incentive bonus, a signing bonus, and full benefits.
The role involves developing data architecture plans and collaborating with business and IT to drive these plans to fruition.
Key responsibilities include driving data and analytics initiatives such as cloud data transformation, data governance, data quality, data standards, CRM, MDM, Generative AI, and data science.
The architect will define cloud reference architectures to promote reusable patterns and best practices for data integration and consumption.
The role includes guiding the data science team in implementing data models and analytics models.
The architect will also provide technology and architecture services to the data science community and guide application development teams in data design for complex solutions.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong cloud data architecture knowledge, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
Experience in developing architecture strategies and plans for cloud data transformation, MDM, data governance, and data science capabilities is required.
The ability to design reusable data architecture and best practices for batch/streaming ingestion and real-time integration/ETL is essential.
Candidates should be capable of leading software evaluations, including RFP development and executive presentations.
A strong understanding of various data domains such as Data Warehousing, Data Governance, MDM, and Data Quality is necessary.
Candidates must be able to communicate data concepts effectively to diverse audiences and advocate for data quality and standards.
Experience with cloud data technologies like Azure Data Factory and big data technologies such as Cloudera and Spark is required.
Typically, 17 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training is expected.
