Remote Enterprise Data Architect

Description:

• The position is for an Enterprise Data Architect, which is a remote role.
• The salary range is $160,000 - $200,000, with an annual incentive bonus, a signing bonus, and full benefits.
• The role involves developing data architecture plans and collaborating with business and IT to drive these plans to fruition.
• Key responsibilities include driving data and analytics initiatives such as cloud data transformation, data governance, data quality, data standards, CRM, MDM, Generative AI, and data science.
• The architect will define cloud reference architectures to promote reusable patterns and best practices for data integration and consumption.
• The role includes guiding the data science team in implementing data models and analytics models.
• The architect will also provide technology and architecture services to the data science community and guide application development teams in data design for complex solutions.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have strong cloud data architecture knowledge, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in developing architecture strategies and plans for cloud data transformation, MDM, data governance, and data science capabilities is required.
• The ability to design reusable data architecture and best practices for batch/streaming ingestion and real-time integration/ETL is essential.
• Candidates should be capable of leading software evaluations, including RFP development and executive presentations.
• A strong understanding of various data domains such as Data Warehousing, Data Governance, MDM, and Data Quality is necessary.
• Candidates must be able to communicate data concepts effectively to diverse audiences and advocate for data quality and standards.
• Experience with cloud data technologies like Azure Data Factory and big data technologies such as Cloudera and Spark is required.
• Typically, 17 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training is expected.
