Description:

Guidewire is seeking a motivated and talented Security Engineer to join their Enterprise Security team.
The role involves supporting the SSO platform, DLP system, and other IAM tools.
Primary responsibilities include working with application owners to ensure SSO integrations meet high security standards.
The engineer will assist in reviewing DLP policies and alert rules.
Responsibilities also include creating and providing reports to enhance the functionality and efficiency of IAM infrastructure for internal stakeholders.
The engineer will collaborate with IAM team members to understand requirements and contribute to the development of IAM solutions.
They will coordinate and perform periodic reviews with application owners regarding the status of their applications and security capabilities.
Daily operations support for the Okta Workforce SSO platform is required.
The role includes assisting with DLP policy and rule reviews.
Scripting and coding to automate IAM processes and tasks using languages such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript is expected.
The engineer will create and maintain documentation for application and system configurations.
Generating reports and analytics to provide insights into IAM operations and compliance status is part of the job.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to IAM systems and integrations will also be required.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Candidates should have 4-6 years of experience supporting an SSO platform such as Okta, Ping, or ADFS.
An analytical mindset is essential for this position.
A basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively is important.
Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript are required.
