Description:

Rackspace Technology is seeking a Presales Enterprise Solution Architect to join their EMEA Public Cloud Presales team, working remotely from Germany.
The role involves driving Multi Service Line large deals and redefining customer business through cloud computing solutions.
Candidates will consult on deals, leveraging technical expertise to transform business challenges into successful solutions.
Responsibilities include leading the creation of proposals, benchmarks, pricing, and innovative commercial models.
The position requires collaboration with Sales, Presales, and delivery teams to create winning proposals and solutions.
The architect will manage a team of Enterprise architects and bid managers, ensuring high-quality solutions and responses to RFPs.
The role involves defining unique solutions, creating a repository of reusable assets for Presales, and maintaining an updated sales pipeline.
Candidates must possess strong German language skills (C1/C2 or native).

Requirements:

A minimum of 15 years of experience in Presales and Solution Engineering for services deals is required.
Proven experience in solutioning Platform, Infra, and Cloud services is essential.
Candidates must have experience as a Solution Architect in a leading IT or Professional Services organization.
Experience as an Enterprise Architect is also required.
Strong technical knowledge in both professional and managed services is necessary.
An excellent understanding of Public Cloud services across AWS, Azure, and GCP is required.
Good business and commercial acumen to handle pricing of complex deals is essential.
Exceptional people skills to develop, mentor, engage, and motivate staff are necessary.
Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation abilities, are required.
Excellent time management, decision-making, and organization skills are essential.
The ability to develop and communicate individual goals and executable tasks based on functional and strategic objectives is required.
At least one certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP is necessary.
Experience working within frameworks such as TOGAF and COBIT, along with knowledge of major cloud players' frameworks and best practices, is preferred.
PMP or Prince 2 certification would be advantageous.
