Description:

  • As a Zip Enterprise Solution Engineer, you will be the primary pre-sales technical point of contact for the Zip solution suite.
  • Your role involves championing Zip by helping prospects understand the value of our application and its fit within their procurement and technical landscape.
  • You will foster collaborative relationships with account executives and sales managers to drive deals to closure.
  • You will act as a trusted advisor to prospective customers, ensuring they have confidence that Zip can address their pain points.
  • You will translate customer needs to post-sales solutions consultants to ensure successful deployment.
  • You will be a subject matter expert on our solution’s capabilities and roadmap, providing customer feedback to influence product development.
  • You will apply innovative problem-solving skills to develop solutions for customers and drive the growth of the Pre-Sales organization.
  • You will provide input and feedback to adapt and improve our sales motion as it evolves.

Requirements:

  • You must have experience selling to Fortune 500 clients and cross-functional decision-makers, including C-level executives.
  • Strong solution selling skills are required, with the ability to articulate the value of software solutions and address customers’ core pain points.
  • Familiarity with the procurement and billing/AP space is necessary.
  • Excellent discovery skills are essential to lead customers through focused conversations to uncover pain points and value.
  • Knowledge of key principles of software integrations, including integration platforms and APIs, is required.
  • A strong solutioning mindset is needed to help customers envision how our solution meets their needs.
  • You should be skilled in troubleshooting technical issues and be a self-starter who can quickly grasp new technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a solution selling environment or a similar role with transferable skills is required.
