Description:
Vanta is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to lead technical discussions with mid-market customers and VIP logos alongside the Enterprise Sales team.
The primary goal is to ensure customers realize the full value of Vanta in achieving their security goals and maintaining successful customer retention.
The role involves consulting and creating innovative solutions for customers post-sales, focusing on customer needs to drive engagement from onboarding through adoption and renewal.
Responsibilities include owning the technical relationship with customers, partnering with Customer Success Managers for seamless onboarding, and supporting the Success team with security reviews and implementation plans.
The engineer will respond to inbound questions from Customer Success teams and develop a deep understanding of Vanta's product capabilities and competitive landscape.
The role requires listening to customers to provide market feedback to the product team and building product examples and documentation in collaboration with various stakeholders.
The engineer will cultivate a teamwork-oriented environment and identify new programs to enhance the pre to post-sales transition.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3-5 years of customer-facing technical experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or in a similar role.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and familiarity with operating systems like Windows, MacOS, and Linux is required.
Strong project management skills and the ability to operate in a startup environment are essential.
Candidates should be creative, curious, technical, and persuasive, with a detail-oriented and organized approach.
The ability to interact with various roles within an organization, including technical and executive levels, is necessary.
General knowledge of a scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, JavaScript) and a desire to expand those skills is preferred.
Familiarity with REST API development and service integrations is a plus, and prior B2B SaaS experience is ideal.
