Remote EU based Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Description:

• The company Laravel is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their all-remote infrastructure team based in the EU timezone.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably with large-scale production systems.
• Mastery of AWS and other cloud providers is essential, with a preference for experience in large AWS environments handling customer data across multiple regions.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) and container orchestration, especially with large clusters containing customer data.
• Experience and strong opinions on logging, monitoring, alerting tools, and processes.
• Comfortable with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in a team setting, enforcing checks and policies for scalability.
• Knowledge of network protocols, load balancing, caching, DNS management, databases, caches, and storage in a containerized environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, and all-remote work environment.
