Description:

As an Experienced Database Engineer at Stytch, you will be responsible for designing and building secure and highly reliable database infrastructure for our global customers.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a database, infrastructure, or platform engineer.
Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting scalable and performant database systems, with a preference for MySQL.
In-depth understanding of relational and non-relational database structures and best practices.
Proficiency in database internals, including performance tuning and query optimization.
Experience in integrating best practices for data reliability, fault tolerance, and integrity.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and RDS.
Proven experience in designing and building highly reliable systems at scale.
Some exposure to observability tooling (e.g., ELK, Datadog, Honeycomb) and a compiled language (e.g., Go).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, GitOps).

Expected base salary range of $175,000 - $225,000, with additional benefits such as equity, health care insurance, time off, and paid parental leave.
