Description:

Veeva Systems is seeking a FHIR Integration Software Engineer to join their team in Boston, Massachusetts, with the option to work remotely.
The role involves building cloud software that accelerates the innovation and delivery of critical treatments and medicines to patients globally.
The engineer will participate in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Responsibilities include collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and domain experts to design and develop applications in life sciences.
The engineer will work with Quality Assurance Engineers to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
The position requires building and maintaining a FHIR integration with existing Electronic Health Record (EHR) solutions.
The engineer will also build and maintain integrations between SiteVault and other Veeva applications.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional software product development experience.
A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience with HL7/FHIR is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is necessary.
Experience in backend development using Java is essential.
Familiarity with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server is required.
