Description:
The Finance Business Intelligence Analyst will work within the Financial Reporting team, playing a key role in supporting the evolution of financial reporting.
The position focuses on bridging the gap between finance and business intelligence, assisting the business in making data-driven decisions.
The analyst will track key financial metrics and KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining comprehensive financial dashboards using advanced BI tools and providing detailed insights into financial performance, trends, and variances.
The role involves ensuring accurate and timely collection of financial data from systems like Oracle NetSuite and integrating data from multiple sources for a unified financial view.
The analyst will analyze profitability and cost efficiency to identify areas for improvement and support audits and regulatory documentation.
The position requires automating repetitive financial tasks to improve efficiency and implementing process improvements to reduce manual efforts and errors.
Enhanced reporting and visualization will be achieved using BI tools like Tableau for dynamic, interactive reports and dashboards.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related field is required.
Demonstrable experience in using SQL to derive actionable insights in either a commercial or academic setting is a must.
Knowledge of Python/R and a desire to expand this knowledge is preferred.
Experience with statistical modeling and descriptive statistics is necessary.
The candidate should have experience in partnership with internal stakeholders and in leading and executing end-to-end BI projects.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English are required; proficiency in other languages such as German, Spanish, and Italian is a plus.
The ability to gather, organize, analyze, and report large volumes of financial data with speed and accuracy is essential.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to provide high-quality work efficiently are required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with the ability to adapt and work in a quickly changing environment.
