Description:

• The Finance Business Intelligence Analyst will work within the Financial Reporting team, playing a key role in supporting the evolution of financial reporting.
• The position focuses on bridging the gap between finance and business intelligence, assisting the business in making data-driven decisions.
• The analyst will track key financial metrics and KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining comprehensive financial dashboards using advanced BI tools and providing detailed insights into financial performance, trends, and variances.
• The role involves ensuring accurate and timely collection of financial data from systems like Oracle NetSuite and integrating data from multiple sources for a unified financial view.
• The analyst will analyze profitability and cost efficiency to identify areas for improvement and support audits and regulatory documentation.
• The position requires automating repetitive financial tasks to improve efficiency and implementing process improvements to reduce manual efforts and errors.
• Enhanced reporting and visualization will be achieved using BI tools like Tableau for dynamic, interactive reports and dashboards.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrable experience in using SQL to derive actionable insights in either a commercial or academic setting is a must.
• Knowledge of Python/R and a desire to expand this knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with statistical modeling and descriptive statistics is necessary.
• The candidate should have experience in partnership with internal stakeholders and in leading and executing end-to-end BI projects.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English are required; proficiency in other languages such as German, Spanish, and Italian is a plus.
• The ability to gather, organize, analyze, and report large volumes of financial data with speed and accuracy is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to provide high-quality work efficiently are required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with the ability to adapt and work in a quickly changing environment.
