Description:

  • The Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst will join Block to assist in building Cash App, a rapidly growing financial app.
  • The role involves working with Cash App's Trust abstraction to enhance customer trust and provide various financial services.
  • Additionally, the position will collaborate with the Financial Product Operations (FinOps) abstraction to manage Cash App's financial infrastructure.
  • Responsibilities include partnering with cross-functional teams for new product development, analyzing financial and business performance, executing ad-hoc analyses, and presenting results to stakeholders.
  • The Senior Analyst will report to the Finance & Strategy Director, Cash App (Trust and FinOps).

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, or similar fields (background in fintech preferred).
  • Proven track record of engaging with team members at all levels, utilizing business acumen and strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling (Excel and/or Google Sheets) and familiarity with SQL.
