Remote Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst, Cash App (Trust and FinOps)

Description:

• The Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst will join Block to contribute to the growth of Cash App, a rapidly expanding financial app.
• The role involves supporting Trust abstraction to build customer trust and FinOps abstraction to manage Cash App's financial infrastructure.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams for new product development, financial analysis, and operational decision-making.
• The Senior Analyst will forecast financial and business performance, analyze risks and opportunities, and communicate insights to leadership.
• Ad-hoc analyses will be conducted on financial projections, business impact, opportunity sizing, and A/B testing.
• Monthly and quarterly results will be presented to stakeholders across various teams.
• The position reports to the Finance & Strategy Director, Cash App (Trust and FinOps).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, or similar fields (background in fintech preferred).
• Proven track record of engaging with team members at all levels, utilizing business acumen and strong communication skills.
• Technical skills required include financial modeling (Excel and/or Google Sheets) and familiarity with SQL.
